What we keep
- Your email address, to sign you in and to write to you about your account and payments.
- Your plans, with the plan images you upload, a small drawing of each, and when you last opened and saved them, so they're in your account on any device.
- Your plan reads: how many you have, your plan if you subscribe, and a history of reads and purchases.
- Your address on the internet (IP address), briefly, to limit how often the plan reader can be used. Counts are deleted within a day.
- Server logs of requests and errors, to keep the service running and fix problems.
- Error reports when something in the app breaks: what went wrong, on which page, your browser's name and version, and your account if you're signed in, so we can fix it and follow up. Kept 30 days.
- Usage counts: how many times a day things happen, like the demo being opened or a plan being saved. They're only totals, with nothing about who did what.
We don't sell your data, show ads, or use advertising or analytics trackers, and nothing follows you to other sites.
In your browser
PlanSpace keeps a copy of the plan you're working on, and your preferences (like units, and whether you've seen the tour), in your browser's local storage, so nothing is lost if you go offline. Signing in sets cookies that keep you signed in; they're needed for the service to work, so there's nothing to opt out of. Signing out clears the copy of your plan once it's saved to your account.
When the plan reader reads a plan
When you ask PlanSpace to read a plan image, the image is sent to an AI model provider to be read, and the draft comes back to you. The provider processes it to answer that request, under its terms for customers of its API.
If you choose to share your plans with the plan reader (it asks first, and it's off unless you say yes), we keep the images you read and your corrections to test and improve the reader. You can withdraw at any time, which deletes them.
Who else handles your data
- Supabase, for account sign-in, the Postgres database and private file storage.
- Vercel, which hosts and delivers the app.
- Bachs, which takes payments and keeps billing records; we never see your card details.
- Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini), depending on the configured plan-reading model, for the plan images you ask to be read.
- Supabase Auth and its configured SMTP email sender, which deliver sign-in links.
Each handles your data only to provide its service to us. Some are based outside your country; where the law requires it, transfers are covered by the safeguards it sets out, such as standard contractual clauses.
Data protection law
Personal data is processed under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and under the GDPR for users in the EU/UK.
Our data protection regulator is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
Why we're allowed to
We use your data to provide the service you signed up for (our contract with you), to keep it secure and free of abuse (our legitimate interest), and to meet legal duties such as keeping payment records. We use shared plans for the plan reader only with your consent.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it or your account. When you delete your account, your plans, images, shared plans, reads and history are deleted straight away; backups roll over within 30 days. Payment records are kept by our payment provider for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
- See and take your data: Download my data on the account page gives you every plan and your account details.
- Delete it: Delete my account on the same page deletes everything.
- Correct it, object to how we use it, or ask anything else: write to jekamiayomide@gmail.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
PlanSpace isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly keep their data.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email first. Ayomide Jekami (trading as PlanSpace) is responsible for your data; write to jekamiayomide@gmail.com.
